Why do they come?
Ghosts appear and visit some people to leave a message to a person or at least to attract attention. Sometimes they appear to scare a person. Some ghosts live in the houses for several ages and people are afraid to live in such houses because are afraid that ghosts will attack them.
But where do ghosts come from? Where were they before visiting us? And where do they go after the contact with a person? These questions can't be answered till now and are investigated by scientists till nowadays.
According to statistics in 82% of all visits of ghosts, they had special aim. And the most popular aims are:
- To tell someone alive about soon trouble that is going to happen with a person in whom a spirit is incarnated. (For example, about the danger to life or soon death). But incarnation is not necessary. Sometimes they may come in any image showing the part of body that may be injured. In such was they either warn people about soon danger or get relatives prepared for the death of a person.
- To comfort relatives that grieve because a person they loved died. Such ghosts are spirits of these dead people. According to some scientists, relatives shouldn't grieve too much about a person because it may make spirits come back. But spirits don't like when they are disturbed.
- To leave a message to alive people. They may leave any message about any events. It may deal with personal and social life. Sometimes people predict future with the help of angels and ghosts. According to them a spirit comes to them and tells what is going to happen.
- And to warn people about the danger that soon may happen. They may warn about danger that is waiting for a person to whom a ghost comes, or for his/her relative, or friend.
- To turn people out of the house. When a ghost lives in a house, sometimes it may start to trouble people because it doesn't like when someone else lives in its house.
- Ghost may also appear to take vengeance on its enemy. According to some theories a ghost can't go to netherworld until the killer of a person whose ghost exists is not punished.
Ghosts that appear in the same place for several times have some kind of emotional connection with this place, for example of a person was killed in this place. When ghosts appear too often in one place people consider that ghosts of a person have some undone things in this world. And these ghosts are able to go to the netherworld only after finishing everything they wanted.
According to another theory if a person died because of violent death, his/her soul can't go to netherworld until his/her killer is punished.
There is a great amount of information that tells us about abilities of ghosts. They can fly, move objects, pass through the walls, get into the body of a person and control it, etc.
