- Stanley Hotel, Colorado. All fans of Steven King know about this hotel. In this hotel he made up the plot of one of his novels. - Crenshaw House, Illinois. This house was built in 1838 and it is often called "The House of Ancient slaves". Its former owner is John Crenshaw who needed cheap labour to keep his business. Slaves were constantly tortured and some of them even didn't have anything to eat. And the spirits that appear in this house are considered to be the souls of dead people.
- Winchester House, San-Jose, California. The history of a house started with ghosts.
