Ghosts and spirits are popular topics of films and books. People are interested in it very much. And during the history of humanity there were a lot of examples of meetings with ghosts.
But there are also a lot of places in the world where ghosts appear more often than in the others.
Here are some stories about ghosts.
- London's underground is frequently visited by ghosts. There are a lot of witnesses and stories that tell us about ghosts in London's underground. One of the most popular is the story about the spirit Ann Naylor, that was killed in 1758 and her spirit visits Farringdon station at night. People say that they heard her screams that are heard at the station.

- A story of Lady Harris is very famous too. People believe that a ghost lived in her house. This spirit had a long beard and was looking for something in the chest of drawers. Later Lady Harris found out that the former owner of the house had a long beard and he used elastic to keep it fit. She found the same elastic in her house and put it in the chest of drawers. In the morning she saw that elastic was missed and the spirit stopped visiting the house.
- In one of gyms of Kansas-city cameras captured something that was very similar to the ghost. It had the shape of a circle that was walking in the gym for about two hours. Experts couldn't give the exact explanation of the origins of this strange object.
