Classification of ghosts
Revenant is a phenomenon out of explanation and understanding that can be seen only once. Those illusions that may be seen several times are called ghosts. In the majority of cases, people consider ghosts to be the spirits of dead people, but in reality most ghosts are the spirits of live people.
In the majority of cases ghosts demonstrate their presence in other ways: by touching, strange sounds, smells. In the beginning of the 19th century explorers that worked in the sphere of psychology and parapsychology as well as scientists of other fields of knowledge were particularly interested in this phenomenon. A lot of information was collected to make it easier explanation of ghosts. But still the information about ghosts is very relevant.
If the appearance of ghosts was proved these ghosts are called trustworthy and are the most valuable information for scientists. But there are also a lot of types of ghosts and spirits. So scientists have several types of ghosts:
The first type is a ghosts that appears in the culminate points of life of a person, for example, before death of a person. They may also appear in the moments of emotional stress of a person. People think that they appear to tell about death of a person. Some of them even show their wounds. These ghosts frequently appear in dreams and very rarely in reality.
The ghosts of dead people are the most popular. In the majority of cases these ghosts visit their relatives, friends or someone they loved. People say that they come to calm a person down and to console relatives.
The third type of ghosts is when several people see ghosts. According to statistics, usually several people see ghosts.
There are also ghosts that come to people who feel lonely. A person wants to be with someone and in such way calls a ghost for help.
There are also stories when ghost similar to angels come to people in the moments of their death. Besides, sometimes these angels were also seen by those who were near dying person.
There are also prophetic dreams when spirits of dead people visit a person in dreams. As a rule these ghosts come to tell about the future or to warn a person. Sometimes they also come to warn about soon death and reincarnation.
There is also special type of ghosts called poltergeist. This ghost doesn't show itself, but it is an abstract energy that moves objects in the house, or makes objects fly, or opens windows and doors. Poltergeists usually happen when a person is in the house, and very rarely happen in empty houses.
Ghosts may also be good and evil. If a ghost helps to a person or doesn't trouble him/her than a ghost is good, but if a ghost troubles people and even attack them than this ghost is evil. The majority of seen ghosts are good and stay indifferent to people. But poltergeists are usually evil and happen to harm people.
There are a lot of ghosts that may appear in different moments of our life, but according to statistics they appear in the places and in the moments of high emotional stress. That is why people consider that our emotions make ghosts appear. And if these emotions are bad than the evil ghost comes and if they are particularly positive than angels visit us.
