Angels
Angels are the kind spirits. They can't feel all emotions people have. They are not able to love, hate, envy, etc. But still they are kind spirits that take care of people, help them and protect them.
In all cultures angels are the servants of the God that are sent to the earth to help people. In many religions there is a belief that when a person is born god sends an angel to each of us that must protect us and take care about us. They help us to be kind and to follow the light and not the darkness.
Angels are supposed to live in heaven. The power that angels have is given by God. But usually angels have the ability to be invisible, to fly, to incarnate in the physical body of the person. They also may influence the physical objects. Angel knows what people think and have telepathic abilities. Sometimes angels are even able to destroy the whole cities and towns. But the quality that makes angels look like people is freedom in choosing. And their essence depends from this choice. In some religions (Christianity) angels thanks to freedom in choosing may become evil. It happens when an angel commits all seven signs.
There are a lot of stories and witnesses that say that they saw angels and that angels talked to them. Sometimes angels come to people to tell about future or to warn a person about future problems. Some people say that children are able to see angels that guard them.
One of such stories says that an angel saved a girl. The whole house was in fire and the girl was alone in it and didn't know what to do. But she saw an angel calling her that took her by the hand and helped to fin the way out that wasn't covered with fire. When a girl went out from the house everybody was so surprised, and it seemed that she was holding someone invisible by the hand.
Other story tells us about a woman that said that she has an ability to see angels. She said that an angel comes to her almost every night and tells her future of her relatives and friends so that she could help them. She visits churches regularly and is very grateful to God for this ability.
Angels are supposed to come with bright light all dressed in white colour. Angels have wings with the help of which they fly. Some people say that when a good and kind person dies, he/she becomes an angel.
Angels are very popular in cinematography and in books. Directors and writers use them to give a spice to their work. Besides, we can see the images of angels almost every day. Some nations have the tradition to put an angel on Christmas tree and to put a figure of an angle on the bed of newly born kid. In such way they consider that angels will defend their child from evil spirits.
